Central Florida.... A Unique & Romantic Day!

Many couples get tired of the same thing day in and day out and when it comes to Date Night, your options may seem even more limited. Romance doesn't always come easy and sometimes you need to get creative, try something new and venture out for something beyond the typical routine. If you live in Central Florida or are planning a few days here in the near or not-so-distant future, you might want to try something new and creative to give you and you honey some ever lasting memories.

Things can get a little weird here in Florida, but that weirdness can bring about an interesting level of creativity, especially when it comes to relationships. We've had a number of people ask for our ideas of an "Over-The-Top Date Night", but unfortunately, we can't give one simple answer that applies to everyone. We all face challenging variables to consider and conquer when we are planning a Date Night. Challenges such as budget, interests, logistics, weather and season can be generally applied to everyone in one fashion or another, but location can prove to be a little more difficult. We have a diversified portfolio of thoughts and ideas in our arsenal of romantic adventures, but the location needs to be carefully considered or our recommendations will be wishful thinking at best. We can't recommend a detailed romantic plan involving a beach sunset to a couple in Montana, nor can we recommend a detailed romantic plan involving white water rafting to a couple in Miami. Once we know your location, we can get busy with your master Date Night plan that is actually useful to you and your honey.

For Central Florida residents, or those visiting the area, our Over-The-Top Date Night would actually be an entire day involving careful planning, timing and some travel. We would begin on the east coast, snuggled up in the early morning hours on a beach in or near Cocoa Beach. With a few supplies on hand such as chairs, pillows, blankets, fruits and drinks, we would enjoy the morning sunrise and a non-political conversation.

About 30 minutes past sunrise, or whenever we were ready, we would head to Orlando to enjoy the day at the one of the many theme parks conveniently located in Central Florida. Our personal preference would be the Epcot Food & Wine Festival held from Mid-September to Mid-November. After we enjoyed the late morning and early afternoon hours feasting on the variety of world cousine available, we would continue our trek westward to the west coast of Florida to watch the evening sunset. Clearwater Beach or a number of locations to the south of Tampa would be our preferred destination based on our previous experiences.

Finishing our day with a romantic dinner on the beach while watching the evening sunset is one the the best ways to complete a wonderful day with the one you love. To make things easier on the two of you, rent a room on both the east coast and west coast to minimize travel time before the sunrise and after the sunset. Once the sunset has passed on the west coast, continue to enjoy your evening in the Clearwater/Tampa/St. Petersburg area until you are ready to call it a night. Just remember that heading to your room for the night does not necessarily mean your night has to come to and end!
